My name is Charlie Dyasi, and I am a voice artist, audio engineer, and radio producer based in South Africa.
I come from a strong background in audio production, with a Sound Engineering qualification (NQF Level 5) and several years of experience working in radio and podcasting. I have worked as a freelance producer at Umhlobo Wenene FM and previously as a technical producer at Zibonele FM, where I handled recording, editing, mixing, and producing content, including radio dramas.
Working behind the scenes in audio has helped me develop a deep understanding of voice — how it should sound, how it should feel, and how it connects with an audience. That naturally led me into voice-over work, where I focus on delivering performances that are clear, authentic, and engaging.
I am comfortable working across different styles, including narration, commercials, and character work. I am also multilingual, fluent in English, isiXhosa, isiZulu, Afrikaans, and Sesotho, which allows me to connect with a wide range of audiences.
For me, voice is more than just sound — it is storytelling. Every script is an opportunity to bring something to life, and I approach each project with that in mind.
